We Paws for Thanks

Good day fellow crafters. So the other day one of my fur babies decided that he wanted to stretch his old achy body with a nice long walk….unfortunately for me it was outside the confines of our backyard, not only that but streets away as well. Fortunately, he was discovered by some very nice neighbors who made sure he had food and drink and stayed safe until I found him. This is the thank you card I put together for the neighbor. I hope you enjoy it.

The card base is a standard A2 White card stock from my stash that I keep pre-cut and folded for my designs. I find it easier to sit and make a bunch of these up while I am watching tv so they are ready as I need them. For the background, I used a Gray card stock that I added just a touch of highlights then matted with a darker Gray and adhered them to the card base.

The bone was created from the Taylored Expressions’ Puppy Love layering stencil set (only stencil one) and was highlighted with some Lawn Fawn Sugar Cookie ink. The sentiment was created from the Altenew Simple Alpha die set and Black card stock. I coated each piece with some glossy accent and adhered them to the bone. To add some dimension I added a bow using the My Favorite Things Birthday Cocktail die and a small gem at the center.

The last element was the paw print. This was created from Black card stock and the My Favorite Things Paw Prints die set. With this element completed, I arranged and surface-mounted all of the elements to the background.
