Color Your Day
Good day fellow crafters. I trust you are having a day filled with inspiration. Today, I am delighted to share my watercolor project, which incorporates a touch of sparkle to create a simple yet stunning colored card. The shades of blue, black, and gold blend beautifully in the card displayed below, while the pinks lend a captivating charm to the ones in the gallery. I hope you appreciate them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
The striking Captivating Blooms stamp from Altenew takes center stage on the front of this greeting card. Using Black ink, the image was stamped and then delicately watercolored in shades of Blue and Green to achieve a vibrant and beautiful effect. Each flower was then adorned with a shimmering flat-back gem at its center, adding a touch of elegance and sparkle to the design.
To create the sentiment, I used Gold embossing powder and a sentiment from Altenew's Fancy Greetings stamp set. After heat setting the powder with my heat gun, I matted the background with a Light Blue and then adhered it to a pre-cut White A2 card base.
This card is versatile enough for any occasion, from birthdays to weddings, and is guaranteed to capture the attention and admiration of its recipient.
