Simon Says Stamp Birthday Challenge
Good day fellow crafters. Below is my first-ever Simon Says Stamp Challenge entry. I am loving going through all kinds of different creators blogs to find new ideas and inspirations to expand my creativity. I hope you enjoy it.
To start crafting this card, I opted for White cardstock and Lindsay's Magical Powders (Apothecary Azure, Petticoat Plum, and Pretty in Pink) to produce a watercolor effect for the background. After allowing it to dry, I used Gina K's Blue Denim ink and the Simon Says Stamp Leaf Edges cling stamp to imprint the leaves on the background, and the blue shade complemented the background beautifully. The next step involved double-matting the background with White and a deep Blue before adhering it to a pre-cut A2 White card base.
The sentiment was crafted by double-layering White cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Happy Birthday Script die, adding depth to it.
