Dream Valley Challenge

Good day, fellow crafters. It's time for yet another exciting design challenge submission. Today, I am thrilled to showcase my creation for the Dream Valley Challenge, a fresh and invigorating opportunity for me. Without further ado, allow me to present my entry: an exquisite anniversary card crafted exclusively for my neighbor and her beloved spouse. I sincerely hope that this heartfelt creation brings joy to your hearts as well.

This card was created using premium watercolor paper. I started by stamping a background design using the "Sketchy Blooms" (R251) stamp from Stampendous, which instantly caught my attention with its floral theme, with clear embossing ink, then covered with gold embossing powder and heat set. I then utilized an Altenew watercolor set to paint the background, carefully applying each stroke. Afterward, I patiently set the card aside to dry.

Moving forward, I proceeded to craft the sentiment for the card using the "Happy Anniversary" stamp, which, like the background stamp, is from Stampendous. To achieve an elegant effect, I employed embossing ink, gold embossing powder, and heat-resistant vellum. After carefully heat-setting the sentiment, I was genuinely delighted with the final outcome. The combination of these elements resulted in a striking and satisfying result.

For the final assembly, I mounted the sentiment onto the background and then the background onto a pre-cut A2 pink card base that perfectly complements the background.
