Shaped Cards: SSS Wednesday Challenge
Good day, fellow crafters. I would like to share with you my submission for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week. The challenge requires a shaped card, with the exception of squares and rectangles, and it is centered around birthdays. As luck would have it, I have been eagerly awaiting the chance to use this die set, and since I need to make a birthday card for a family member who loves dragons, I thought I would give it a shot. I hope you like it!
To create a special and customized card, I utilized The Stamps of Life's Dragon Fold-it Die Cut set, selecting the Dragon die and high-quality White cardstock. After cutting out the dragon, I added my own touch by coloring it with Copic markers in the recipient's favorite colors. To enhance the dragon's appearance, I applied Glossy Accents to the eyes and wink of stella to the wings for a bit of shine.
To build the card, I used the remaining die and a pre-cut Purple A2 card base to create the background. Layering the pieces, I carefully affixed the dragon cutout onto the pre-cut card base, creating a unique design that was sure to impress.
I feel this set allowed for me to produce a one-of-a-kind card that perfectly captures the recipient's love for dragons and her favorite colors.
