Patterned Paper Christmas
Week 6
Good day, fellow crafters. This is the sixth and final week of the Run Up to Christmas Hop 2023 series. Join us in embracing the spirit of the season where love, joy, and creativity harmoniously converge. I hope you enjoy my submissions to these challenges and if you would like to see the work the other participants in the hop have done then check out #runuptochristmashop2023 or head over to my Instagram page @forgetmenotcardco, find my post with this card, and then follow the other participants listed in the description.
The theme for this week’s challenge is to incorporate patterned paper in your card-making. After going through my patterned paper collection, I found two papers that I absolutely fell in love with when they were combined. The plaid pattern I chose because to me plaid is warm and snuggly while being manly and rugged at the same time which I really like. The second paper I chose to use I picked because I really like the graphics as well as the fonts and I am positive I don’t have anything else like it in my collection to try and recreate it. I trimmed each of these to size, adhered them together and then adhered them to a kraft-colored card base. With that, I called the card complete.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this inspiring challenge. Your creativity and passion have truly motivated me to explore new avenues in my card-making journey.
