Altenew March 2023 Inspiration Challenge: Fourth Entry
During this gloomy part of the year here where I live, not quite winter not quite spring, having the natural colors of the world outside to draw upon made me excited to give this challenge a try. Below is the fourth in the series of entries for this challenge that I am submitting.
To start this card I used Altenew’s Mandala Builder Stencil Set, layered on top of a piece of 110lb white card stock and inked it with Altenew’s Just Green, Hunter Green, Yellow Ochre, Misty Moor, Hazelnut and Sicilian Amber. While this set does consist of three stencils it is still very easy to line them up to get the pattern I used. With some double sided adhesive I then mounted the inked card stock to some dark green card stock to form a matted effect and then mounted that to a previously bi-folded 4”x6” brown cardstock base.
To complete the card, I fussy cut and adhered the “just because” sentiment on top of the card. This was stamped in VersaFine Clair black pigment ink on the Altenew Just Because Builder stamp. I used the same brown cardstock that was used for the card base.
