Allsorts Challenge Entry for Weeks 722/723

Good day fellow crafters. Below is my entry for the Allsorts Challenge for this week. The theme for this challenge is “In the Spring Garden” and I think that these cuties are just what that theme calls for here. I hope you enjoy it

I began this card with a piece of White card stock, a Pink Fresh Studio stencil called Garden Florals and a selection of inks from my collection. These included Gina K’s Faded Brick, Ranger Distress Oxide in Wilderness, Villanious Potion, Seedless Preserve, Festive Berries, Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint. After I had colored in the stencil that I wanted to give it a speckled egg look, which I created by putting the ink on an old tooth brush and flicking the bristles over the card. The background was then double matted in Black and Red and adhered to a pre-cut White A2 card base.

To create the sentiment I used Altenew’s Fancy Thanks die set and some more Black card stock that were doubled up to provide height.

For some sparkle I used Crafty Meraki’s Red Flat Backed Beads.
