A Sentiment to Live By

Good day fellow crafters. Today I would like to present to you a simple card but with a powerful message. When someone is going through a tough time, a little bit of encouragement can go a long way. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple reminder that they already have what it takes to overcome their challenges. That's where a motivational card with the sentiment like the one I have chosen, "You already have what it takes", comes in. Whether it's for a friend, family member, or colleague, this card is the perfect way to show someone that you believe in them and their abilities. With a heartfelt message and a personal touch, this card can help brighten someone's day and give them the confidence they need to tackle whatever comes their way. I hope you enjoy it.

To create this card I began by taking a piece of White cardstock, the Simon Says Stamp background stamp called DAMASK, clear ink, and White embossing powder that I heat set. I then used some of Ranger’s Distress Oxide in the color Shaded Lilac to highlight the part of the card not embossed. I then used a microfiber cloth to remove some excess.

Once the Ink dried I then used a rectangular die to cut a window that will frame my sentiment. I then used Black ink and the Pretty Pink Posh Blissful Butterflies stamp set to add some simple accents to the card. I really like how the background played within their wings.

I set the background aside and with a Vanilla cardstock, the Pinkfresh Studio’s Infinite Blooms stamp set and some more Black ink stamped the sentiment where once matted with the background it would show in the frame.

Lastly, I assembled the pieces of the card onto a pre-cut A2 Gray card base to complete the design
