Stay Crafty with a Blog named Hero: February 2023 Challenge
Hello all, February is turning out to have much more inspiration for us crafters than just Valentine’s Day. For example, Hero Arts laid down a challenge that I just had to accept in which they wanted to see what we could do with the inspiration they called “Animal Crackers”. If it goes baa, cluck, moo, roar, bark, honk, meow, neigh, oink, hee-haw, quack, trumpet, whoop, squeak, howl, gobble, hoot, croak, chirp, whistle or buzzes, crawls, hops, flies, swims, jumps, hovers, flutters, waddles or burrows we were free to make what we could. Below is my entry.
The products I used are listed below.
Stamps and dies:
Hero Arts Bee the Queen
Hero Arts Infinity Rounded Rectangle
Hero Arts Geometric Bee Pattern Bold Print
Inks:
Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass
Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner
Distress Oxide Dusty Concord.....these were for Ink smooshing
Altenew Permanente Black Ink
Copic Markers:
Y06,Y08, Y13, Y19, Y38, YR04, YR14, YR 23, W1, W3, W5, W7, C1, B41, B21, RV11, RV 13, RV21, RV04, RV19, RV17, YG03, YG13, YG 23, E33,E43, E55
Sparkle on flower, crown, and wings is Wink of Stella and to finish it off Glossy Accents were added to the wings for dimension.
I had a lot of fun with this one, well I always have fun, but it was exciting to have inspiration that was outside of what one would associate with February. I hope you are inspired and want to try it yourself. Remember Crafting is Happiness!
