Pastels
Good day fellow crafters. Below is my entry into the Allsorts Challenge Week 720. The theme of the challenge is pastels and spring which I incorprated into my cards. I hope you enjoy them.
In order to create these cards I used the Love Nicole Scrollwork embossing folder for the background effect. I misted each colored piece of card stock with three spritz of water and then placed them in the embossing folder and ran them through the machine. The water helps to prevent cracking in the paper and worked so well I made a four of each color with no issues.
The flower was created from a piece of white card stock that was stamped with various colors of Altenew’s Crisp dyes which I will list below over the Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath stamp and die set. I then glued on a jewel from my bead stash into the center of each flower for the added shimmer. The wreath was raised up on the card with some pop dots for height.
The sentiment was created using Brutus Monroe Glorious Garden stamp set and flush mounted to the card.
