Easter Offering
Good day fellow crafters and Happy Easter. As part of the Polkadoodles challenges for Easter, I decided that I wanted to have some time to play in the craft room today and work on some more whimsical cards. I feel that this card is a perfect way to spread some Easter cheer and remind you that there's always something to be thankful for amidst the beauty of nature. So let's hop into this delightful Easter adventure together and embrace the magic of the season! I hope you enjoy it.
To craft this adorable card, I began with Simon Says Stamp's Clouds for Days stencil, a light blue cardstock, and Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink, which formed the background. Next, I used Green Grass colored cardstock and the My Favorite Things Slim Line Grassy Hills die to construct the lush grass field. To enhance the realism of the grass, I meticulously detailed it with my Copic markers before attaching it to the sky background. The Simon Says Stamp Hello Easter stamp and dies set supplied me with the Rabbit and flowers, which I cut out using their respective die cuts, and colored with my trusty Copic markers. For the sentiment, I stamped the message from the Hello Easter set in Black ink before finally attaching all of the elements to the background. The card came together by placing the background on a Yellow mat and then mounting everything onto a pre-cut A2 White card base.
