All About Layering Card Number 4
Good day fellow crafters. I am continuing to practice layering techniques. This is my last post in this series. It is still a variation of the same card but contains differences in the layered colors, the orientation of the layout, the sentiment, and its placement. I hope you enjoy them.
To make this card, I began with a piece of Navy Blue cardstock that I misted with water on the back and embossed using the Vines folder from Park Lane. After running it through the die-cut machine, I trimmed it at an angle and adhered it to a pre-cut A2 White card base.
The focal point of the card, the flowers, are from Altenew's Antique Roses stamp and die set. For this project, I used Altenew's Crisp Dye Inks, which produce crisp detailing in your stamped works. After stamping the images, I used their corresponding dies to cut them out and adhered them in a triangular pattern on the card base.
To create the sentiment, I used Altenew's Engraved Flowers stamp set and deep black ink. To add some sparkle, I used three clear flat-back crystals from Kat Scrappiness, which I also arranged in a triangular pattern.
Below are the ink colors I used for reference.
