All About Layering Card Number 2

Good day fellow crafters. I am continuing to practice layering techniques. My next few posts will be variations of the same card but containing differences in the layered colors, the orientation of the layout, the sentiment, and its placement. I hope you enjoy them.

To make this card, I began with a piece of Navy Blue cardstock that I misted with water on the back and embossed using the Vines folder from Park Lane. After running it through the die-cut machine, I trimmed it at an angle and adhered it to a pre-cut A2 White card base.

The focal point of the card, the flowers, are from Altenew's Antique Roses stamp and die set. For this project, I used Altenew's Crisp Dye Inks, which produce crisp detailing in your stamped works. After stamping the images, I used their corresponding dies to cut them out and adhered them in a triangular pattern on the card base.

To create the sentiment, I used Altenew's Engraved Flowers stamp set and deep black ink. To add some sparkle, I used three clear flat-back crystals from Kat Scrappiness, which I also arranged in a triangular pattern.

Below are the ink colors I used for reference.
